Born in 1979, grew up in a small village, Perozinho, near Porto, in Portugal. Studied engineering and in the end of graduate, he decided to move to photography, following an old passion. Started shooting for himself, to find his own stile and place, Tiago studied the work of those who became his most influence, like Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Frank, Garry Winogrand, Joel Meyerowitz, Sebastião Salgado, etc. He realized the best way to document a society is through photography, and developed a passion for street photography, trying to understand the complex puzzle of streets and all his elements, people and their feelings, their eyes and reactions, routines of daily life in the streets, bus stations, markets, coffeshops, etc. The maximum number of elements we can put in the single frame keeping the photograph readable, was/is the big challange for Tiago.
Work in several areas for clients such as hotels, fine-art collectors, banks, industry, tourism companies, etc, and personal projects, in street photography, travel and interior design.
